Yurting at Tillamook

We went camping at Cape Lookout State Park last weekend.
It was dry all day Saturday which allowed us to beach comb and collect lots of agates and some shells.
Friday night it was raining so the kids provided us with some inside entertainment!

Our van was "dead" Saturday morning but the ranger was quick with the battery jumper and Les Schwab diagnosed dirty connection and we were off and running again.
Brothers enjoying God's great creation in the outdoors.

What a fun trip for the winter weekend, and I'll bet it beats working all weekend, huh Greg? The rain or dead car batteries adds to the intrigue of it all, as soon as these things are actually overcome. Easy for me to say!

Ok, I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but after looking at the picture of the kids upside down, I finally realized how they did that!!
Good ones guys!!

Nice yurt! it looks like you guys had a great time. Now if we could get tweetel de and tweetel dumb to stop using your blog for there own conversation, all would be good... OK, I did enjoy the banter and that whole "we're all family thing" makes it ok. all of my love.
